Car won't start? Dead battery in the driveway, brakes grinding, a puddle underneath you can't identify? A technician from our shop on Fremont Blvd comes to your home or office and does the work where the car sits. No tow, no waiting room, no stranger from an app.

Yes. A technician from our shop on Fremont Blvd drives out to wherever your car is and does the work there. Your driveway, your work parking lot, or the spot where it quit on you.
We are not a booking platform matching you with whoever is nearest. The person who shows up works at the shop you can walk into any day of the week, and has since 1986. If the job turns out to need a lift, we tell you that instead of sending someone out to discover it in your driveway.

Four steps, and the first one is a real person answering the phone.
Tell us what the car is doing and where it is. You'll talk to someone at the shop, not a call center or a booking bot.
We'll tell you honestly whether it's a job we can do on site, and when a technician can get to you.
One of our ASE-certified technicians drives out from Fremont Blvd with the tools and parts the job needs.
Diagnosed and repaired in your driveway, your work parking lot, or wherever it stopped. No tow, no waiting room.
These are the jobs that travel well. Every one of them gets diagnosed before anything is replaced, in your driveway rather than in our bay.
The most common call we get. A technician comes out, tests the battery, starter, alternator and connections, and tells you which one it actually is before anything gets replaced.
Dash battery light, slow crank, or dead in the driveway. We test the charging system too, because a new battery on a failing alternator is money you spend twice.
Engine won't turn over but the lights work. We confirm the starter is the fault, then replace it where the car sits rather than towing it first.
Squealing, grinding, or a pulsing pedal. Pads replaced at your home or office, with the rotors measured and an honest answer on whether they need turning or replacing.
A puddle under the car and no idea what it is. We find the source, tell you what it is, and tell you plainly whether it can wait or it can't.
Buying a used car across town? We inspect it where it sits, at the dealer or the seller's driveway, before you hand over money.
Describe the symptom and we'll tell you if it's one we can come out for.
Real reviews from local drivers.

If we can reach it safely and work beside it, we can usually fix it there.
The most common one. The car won't start, and it doesn't need to move for us to work on it.
Get the repair done during your workday instead of spending a Saturday on it.
As long as we can safely reach the car and there's room to work beside it.
Some repairs travel. Some need a lift and a machine bolted to the floor. Here is the honest split.
No-start diagnostics, batteries, starters, alternators, brake pads, leak inspections and pre-purchase inspections. Anything that needs hand tools and a diagnostic scanner rather than a lift.
You're on the right pageFour jobs can't be done in a driveway, because the equipment doesn't travel and, for smog, California licenses the station rather than the technician.
Not sure which side your repair falls on? Describe the symptom on the phone and we'll tell you, even when the answer means you don't need us to come out.
Booking platforms send whoever is nearest. We send our own technician, from a shop you can walk into.
We're not a platform dispatching a stranger to your address. The technician who comes out works at the shop on Fremont Blvd, and you can walk in and talk to us any day of the week.
Half of a no-start call is ruling things out. We'd rather test three things and replace one than replace three and hope.
The same people who work on cars in our bays, doing the same work in your driveway.
Domestic, Japanese, European and EV. If we can't help with yours, we'll say so on the phone instead of charging you to find out.
Some jobs need a lift and the right machine. We'll tell you up front which those are rather than sending someone out to fail.
A tow is often the most expensive part of a dead battery or a bad starter. Coming to you takes that off the bill entirely.
Domestic, Japanese, European and EV. If yours isn't listed, call and ask — the list below is the common ones, not the limit.
Straight answers on what travels, what doesn't, and how it works.
Yes. A technician from our Fremont shop drives out to wherever your car is — your driveway, your work parking lot, or the spot where it quit. We've been on Fremont Blvd since 1986, so this isn't a platform matching you with a stranger; it's our own technician. Call (510) 797-0511 with your location and what the car is doing.
Usually, yes — and it's the call we get most. A no-start is almost always the battery, the starter, the alternator, or a connection between them, and all four can be tested and repaired where the car sits. We diagnose first and tell you which one it is before anything gets replaced. If it turns out to be something that needs a lift, we'll say so rather than guessing.
At your location: no-start diagnostics, battery replacement, starter and alternator replacement, brake pads, oil and fluid leak inspections, and pre-purchase inspections. At the shop: tire mounting and balancing (the machines don't travel), smog checks (California licenses the station, not the technician), AC recharge, and transmission work. If your job is in the second group, we'll tell you on the phone.
It depends on the vehicle and the job, so call (510) 797-0511 with your year, make and model and what the car is doing, and we'll talk through it. What we can tell you now is that coming to you often costs you less overall than the shop route, because a dead battery or a bad starter would otherwise start with a tow bill before any repair happens.
We service most makes and models — domestic, Japanese, European and EV, from Acura and BMW through Toyota, Tesla and Volkswagen. The full list is on this page. If your vehicle needs a dealer-only tool or a proprietary procedure, we'll tell you that on the phone instead of charging you a visit to find out.
Not for the whole visit, but we do need access to the vehicle and the keys, and someone reachable by phone in case we find something you should decide about. Most customers hand over the keys, go back inside or back to their desk, and come out when we're done.
Usually, as long as we can reach the car safely and there's room to work beside it. Tight underground garages with low clearance are the common exception. Mention the parking situation when you call and we'll tell you straight away whether it works.
Yes. Pads are one of the jobs that travels well. We'll also measure the rotors while we're there and tell you honestly whether they can stay, need turning, or need replacing — some shops quietly replace rotors every time, and often they don't need it.
Yes, and it's one of the better reasons to use a mobile mechanic. We inspect the car where it sits, at the dealership or the private seller's driveway, so you get an independent opinion before any money changes hands. We'll tell you what we find, including the things the seller would rather we didn't mention.
For a job we've diagnosed over the phone with reasonable confidence — a battery, a common brake pad set — we bring the part out with us. For anything we need to see first, the visit starts as a diagnosis, and we'll tell you then what the part is and what happens next. We'd rather arrive with the right part than the convenient one.
We're based on Fremont Blvd and travel to customers across Fremont, Newark, Union City, Hayward, Milpitas and the surrounding East Bay. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call (510) 797-0511 and ask — the answer is usually yes, and it costs nothing to find out.
For the jobs that travel, it's the same technician doing the same work with the same tools, so the repair is the same. What changes is what's possible: there's no lift, no tire machine and no alignment rack in your driveway. That's why we're direct about which jobs belong at the shop. Anyone who tells you every repair can be done curbside is selling you something.
Call and describe what the car is doing. We'll tell you whether it's something we can come out and fix.

Our mobile technicians work out of the same shop we've run on Fremont Blvd since 1986. You can always come to us instead, and for some jobs you'll need to.
None of it is required. It just gets you a better answer faster.
Describe what the car is doing and where it is. If it's a job that travels, we'll come out. If it needs the bay, we'll tell you that instead of sending someone for nothing.
