Position Overview

We're a busy oil change and auto repair shop looking for a skilled mechanic who enjoys working with customers and takes pride in quality work! We specialize in quick 10-minute oil changes but also handle AC recharges, check engine light diagnostics, rideshare inspections, battery replacement, tune-ups, brake repairs, transmissions, electrical systems, diagnostics, smog checks, and general maintenance.

What You'll Do

Perform oil changes, brake repairs, electrical, mechanical and transmission work
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Communicate clearly and honestly with customers about repairs
Educate customers on proper vehicle maintenance to help prevent future damages
Provide professional, friendly customer service
Complete repair orders accurately
Perform preventive maintenance inspections
Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Must Have:

Automotive repair experience working on many different models preferred
Experience with vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Professional, friendly attitude with customers and coworkers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enjoys working on cars and sharing mechanical knowledge

Preferred:

Can fix and diagnose many issues on a car
Smog certification (STAR station eligible) - a plus!
Can work with software (business already has - will train as needed)
